Artist

interested in authenticity of the voice and innate movement of the body…

BEFORE

MISSION

My deepest belief is that we are human before we are artists. This capacity is universal, and it is the responsibility of everyone to find their individual voice and innate movement. The more we each embrace this belief, and the more this authenticity and freedom can be witnessed, the more we encourage humanity to search for the same in life.

Emily Tedesco is a resident of Paris, France. She is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher. Her extensive experience includes more than 15 years of dancing professionally with the San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, and in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil and Phantom of the Opera of Las Vegas, among other dance companies and independent projects.

She has participated in the National Choreographic Initiative (based in Irvine, California) and choreographed for Dimensions Dance Theatre (Miami, Florida’s premier contemporary dance company).

She choreographs using the observations of everyday life. Her work, thereby creates a lens where movement and music both questions and challenges the rhythm of everyday life.
